Pre-K Special Support Paraprofessional
6.5 hours/day, student days, plus additional days, as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; 2 years college degree, desired
- Completion of 2 years of postsecondary study (minimum of 48 credits); or, possess an associate degree or higher (in any subject), as evidenced by transcripts, preferred
- Highly Qualified training will be provided for applicants having less than 2 years college experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills
- Experience working with special needs students, desired
Requirements:
- Duties will require regular contact with bodily fluids &/or toileting
- Training and support in the areas of assistive technology, eating, communication, sensory integration, and academics
- Assist student with functional mobility
- Experience with academic and behavioral data collection
Hourly Rate: $23.49

Additional Requirements:
- Completion of PDE required training (on-line training courses)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- May be required to lift up to 40 lbs.
