Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated ITAM engineer that will contribute to innovating our employees and asset lifecycle. Who will be responsible for IT asset lifecycle: Administrative duties within the IT procurement and inventory management function, maintain records and databases containing information regarding the company s IT assets (client devices and accessories) Asset lifecycle (procurement, shipment, return, recondition, disposal).
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- The ITAM Systems Engineer - Flexera will contribute to a team of ITAM Specialists working to assist SHI customers in understanding their Hardware and Software Environments.
- Tracking and managing hardware, software, and cloud assets throughout their lifecycle.
- Provide implementation, configuration, and integration services on selected ITAM platform partners
- Ensuring software licenses are compliant and optimized. Identifying areas for improvement in asset management processes.
- Supporting and maintaining asset management systems
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
- Completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or relevant work experience is required
- 6 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure engineering, or a networking position
- 3 years of ITAM industry experience
