EHC is currently looking for Tubing Quality Control Inspectors for a client in the Shreveport, LA area. Hours: 7:00 am - 5:00 pmJob Summary:The quality control inspector must monitor the manufacturing and production processes to ensure that products are made in accordance with requirements and specifications. It also entails helping customers understand quality standards, ensuring that all products meet their contract specifications and standards. Final inspection must be conducted for all material leaving the machine shop.Responsibilities:Daily use and care of measuring equipment consisting of calipers, micrometers, tape measure, height gage and NPT threaded gagesDaily inspection on inbound and outbound materialPerform thorough examinations of all materials and finished productsImplement and improve quality control operating proceduresParticipate in routine visual inspectionsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentAbility to enter data into reportQualifications:Ability to work in changing climate conditions in a non-climate-controlled environmentAt least 6 months experienceExperience with fittings flanges pipe preferredForklift experienceMust be able to do simple mathAbility to interpret technical product specsStrong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComputer proficiencyProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (SharePoint a plus)
