Water Plant Operator
Schedule: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
Pay Rate: $18.22
What You'll Do-
Operation & maintenance of the water treatment and distribution system to ensure adequate water supply to meet process requirements.

Assist with the total water plant operation and maintenance including pumps, valves, tanks, filters, strainers, compressors, softeners, reservoirs, chemical dosing equipment, coagulating and settling basins, piping and other plant facilities.

Maintain and evaluate water reports, records, logs, and graphs to determine if demands for process water are met.

Work safely in a fast-paced, team-structured environment

Stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift throughout shift
- Valid NC driver's License

Ability to operate forklift. Will train for this if needed.

Able to work weekends, Holidays, evenings and off shift hours as needed.

Ability to do physically demanding heavy work, i.e. lifting 100lbs. frequently and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Able to work in an uncontrolled climate experiencing significant variations.
