ABOUT THE ROLE:
This position sits on the Elevate’s Brand Consulting team and will work as part of the client services team.
OVERVIEW:
A successful candidate must be proactive, a problem-solver, exceptionally organized, have a strong attention to detail, an eagerness to learn quickly and a proven team player. The Account Executive will have responsibilities across Elevate’s brand client accounts, with some focusing on soccer and motorsports, but must be open to working across the sports landscape. Day-to-day responsibilities will include supporting the account leadership on tasks such as client recaps, research, event activations, as examples. Major League Soccer marketing and/or Formula 1 experience is an advantage, but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as point person for clients, focused on day-to-day program management, development and management of workplans; recaps and reporting; 3rd party vendor management; as well as other tasks
- Collaborate with partner agencies to develop and implement marketing campaigns specific to our client’s activities
- Build exceptional relationship with client and agency leads to ensure continued collaboration throughout all stages of program development and execution
- Support and lead components of the onsite management of client activations around events
- Develop and maintain a working level understanding of client’s industry, culture, products/services and key initiatives
- Monitor/report industry trends along with competitive activity specific to client category and the soccer and motorsports landscapes
- Participate in all relevant status calls (internal and external) and compile/share regular agendas and status reports
QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years of relevant experience (soccer or motorsports experience preferred)
- Ability to understand/speak Spanish is not necessary but is a bonus
B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- A challenger mindset who is not afraid to question a program, process, etc. in the spirit of improvement
- Knowledge and experience with the sports ecosystem (Sponsor, Property, Team, Agency, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience within Brand Management and/or Shopper Marketing industry
- Ability to develop strong relationships and manage multiple partners and programs
- Strong understand of the digital and social landscape including but not limited to audience insights, trends and analytics
- Experience creating and/or managing project management tools, such as GANTT charts
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written) with the ability to present ideas, activation plans, and recap results
- Real-time industry knowledge and relationships in sports entertainment
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
