Preschool Teaching Assistant
We are looking to hire a wonderful teaching assistant who can join our small preschool! We are proud to have a small one classroom school that focuses on close family and child relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support lead teacher in daily classroom operations
- To develop and maintain a curriculum that is fun and educational for 3-5-year-old children.
- To ensure that the school is fostering an environment that is inviting and nurturing for the children.
- Employ a variety of educational techniques
- Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
- Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
- Track children’s progress and report to parents
- Communicate with parents regularly
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Skills
- Passion for working with children
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
Job Types: Part time to full time, Contract
Pay: From $20/hour depending on experience
