Responsibilities
- Assembling, installing, and connecting elevator cars, frames, cables, pulleys, rails, motors, and controls
- Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions and damages to electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and components
- Using hoists, ladders, hand tools, and safety equipment to access and remove defective parts
- Assisting with the testing and commissioning of new elevator installations
- Following safety procedures and guidelines at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
