In this role you will provide street outreach, engagement activities, crisis intervention, clinical assessment. You will work closely with other team members, service providers and local homeless service providers in an effort to connect individuals to treatment, housing and other resources.
Responsibilities
- Oversee, direct and manage the clinical and administrative functions of assigned programs/region in the Homeless Services Division.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with regional service providers including, DMH, Social Security, EAEDC, Mass Health, housing resources, vocational/employment resources, veteran’s services, mental health, substance abuse and medical providers.
- Attend meetings throughout the Commonwealth as appropriate to support the mandates of the programs/services.
- Participate in Continuum of Care meetings in service areas.
- Act as hiring manager for all programs and services in assigned area. Ensure on-going training, supervision, evaluation and as needed disciplinary action of assigned staff.
- Provide individual clinical and administrative supervision to staff as assigned. Organize and facilitate regional supervision, training, education and consultation groups.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations of assigned staff.
- A Master’s degree in Social Work
- 1 years’ experience working with adults with mental illness and knowledge of homelessness.
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license
- LCSW required, LMHC or LICSW preferred
