Amazing opportunity for an experienced postop/followup nurse to join successful high-end plastic surgery practice. Ability to earn highly competitive salary. Position available for experienced, compassionate, hard-working nurse. Office provides highest level of service for Plastic Surgery procedures.
Responsible for providing post operative care including taking vitals, performing examinations, ordering lab tests, and developing a treatment plan for patient care as directed by supervising physician. Must possess wide-ranging interest in cosmetic surgery, exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and be willing to work in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment while always maintaining a friendly, caring manner. Office is fully digital, must have EMR and computer knowledge and experience.
Desired Skills and Experience
Candidates should possess:
· Demonstrates necessary practical, technical, or specialized skills required for the role of the post-operative nurse in accordance with patient care and regulatory standards of practice.
*Good computer skills and experience with EMR
*Can-do, positive attitude; highest ethical standards
*Recovery Room nursing experience
* Knowledge in Plastic surgery procedures
* Neat, professional, polished, tidy appearance
* Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
* Attention to detail
* ACLS & BLS required
* CPR certification required
*Patient interviewing and post operative follow up care y.
*Post-operative care includes dressing changes, suture removal, compression garment dressing, drain removal, etc.
*Strong assessment skills and ability to initiate interventions with the multidisciplinary team.
