Responsibilities:
- Provide private and group tennis lessons to members of all ages and skill levels, focusing on technique, strategy, and game improvement
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative tennis clinics, camps, and programs for adults and juniors
- Organize and supervise tennis leagues, tournaments, and social events to promote member engagement and community-building
- Maintain tennis courts and equipment, ensuring safety and cleanliness at all times
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and sportsmanship among players
- Assist in promoting tennis programs and events through marketing efforts and outreach to members
- Collaborate with other tennis staff and department directors to ensure seamless operations and exceptional member experiences
- USPTA or PTR certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a tennis instructor or coach, preferably in a club or recreational setting
- Strong playing ability and comprehensive knowledge of tennis technique, strategy, and rules
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with members of all ages and backgrounds
- Proven track record of organizing and leading successful tennis programs and events
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate member schedules and programming needs
