Job Overview
The Water Transfer Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of water transfer services for a specific operator or account. This includes representing EES's interests and core values with customers, utilizing safety equipment, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate water transfer equipment to maintain pumps, valves, flow meters, telemetry, and other Company-owned equipment.
- Install and monitor water transfer equipment necessary for system operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to supervisors.
- Represent EES in customer interactions and ensure effective communication.
Skills
- Working knowledge of water transfer operations and equipment.
- Mechanical skills, particularly with respect to pumps and related water transfer equipment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic spreadsheet and word processing skills using a mobile device
Education & Qualifications
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Valid Driver's License require
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Walk 5 miles per day on uneven terrain
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Prompt and dependable attendance required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 100 per week
