What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Elkins Lake Recreation Corporation?
Elkins Lake Recreation Corp is looking for a motivated individual to join our maintenance department. We have 3 lakes, tennis courts, 2 swimming pools, parks, greenbelts, a clubhouse, and public areas that are maintained by this department. This position includes tasks such as:
- Cleaning the clubhouse and other public access restrooms and buildings throughout the community and golf courses, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and removing trash.
- Keep track of cleaning supplies and request replacements as needed.
- Basic facility inspections to check conditions and report any issues found to Maintenance Supervisor.
- Ability to follow established procedures and guidelines of tasks given.
- Provide outstanding customer service and help solve member's questions and concerns in a professional manner.
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Experience & skills needed:
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Knowledge of cleaning supplies and products.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to climb a ladder to be able to clean windows and other areas.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willing to work holidays and weekends as needed.
- Previous housekeeping experience a plus.
