Dispatch Associate

Available Shifts-

Day Shift- Schedule is M-F 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Supports the day-to-day operations of the regional distribution center, providing order and delivery services.
Summary: The Dispatch Associate is responsible for prioritizing all orders for the distribution center and assigning them to the appropriate order puller while taking into consideration factors including the size of the order, the availability of order pullers, and the current number of orders currently assigned to each person. The Dispatch Associate is also responsible for assuring all orders are pulled in a timely manner so other warehouse staff can meet the customer and route deadlines and communicating with delivery drivers to ensure smooth delivery routes and excellent customer service
~ Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions, including unloading and checking incoming shipments while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
~ Receives inventory coming into the building from vendors, customers, or other locations accurately and promptly.
~ Responsible for any assigned housekeeping tasks and for carrying out any other duties assigned to them by management.
Pay is weekly.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED, with warehouse or distribution experience, is preferred. Must be able to identify products by size, type, style, color, or product code. Must be able to read orders and match orders on shipping tickets to items picked. Basic math skills and reasoning skills are required. Must learn to correctly operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, and handheld devices.
Must be able to read, comprehend, write, perform calculations, input accurately, reason, and analyze. Must be able to function independently, completing a variety of tasks accurately and with close attention to detail in a team environment.
Physical Requirements: This is a safety-sensitive position therefore the ability to work in a constant state of alert and in a safe manner is imperative. Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone. Ability to bend, climb, push, and pull. Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Able to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
