Purpose:

The Line Packer is responsible for the packaging of product into the various types of containers to be distributed to our customers that is not only safe to eat but meets all customer and internal specifications. The incumbent should understand how all production line packing processes operate and is able to move to all locations on the post bake side and be effective and productive in the Line Packer function. The incumbent may be assigned to seal-out duties on the line.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend and be on time for all pre-shift production meetings
• Participation and adherence to all food safety and safety programs
• Completion of assigned Alchemy courses that are required throughout the year
• Ensure that all product is packaged in the correct packaging
• Ensure that all packaging information is correct
• When assigned, seal-out boxed cookie product with correct labeling and packaging for warehouse storage and shipping
• Assist with changing over equipment when changing product
• Ensure that all utensils, equipment, and work area is maintained in a clean and safe manner
• Monitor automated equipment to verify it is functioning properly and if there is an issue, and report any issues to your leader
• Effectively communicate all relevant information to other production shifts and employees
• Immediately report any and all food safety and quality problems to Management
• Welcome all new team members and train as assigned
• Assist other areas of production as needed or directed by leadership
• Ensure area is prepared and cleaned for the next shift

Skills/Work Experience Needed:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Pay: From $14.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
