Our client based in San Francisco is looking for the following: Engineering Lead- Payments

We are looking to hire engineers and an engineering lead that will help keep Our Client safe from fraudsters. Moderate payments and content at scale to keep Our Client a safe place for customers. Each day, there are 40,000 transactions, and roughly 150,000 users who use the platform. When a buyer makes a payment to a seller, we must choose to refund the payment or hold the funds. Similarly, when a seller onboards to our platform, we must decide if they should be allowed to sell, and if they should have reserves placed on them.

• Moderate transactions for chargeback risk; seller fraud, buyer fraud, and collusion fraud
• Own KYC and payout flows
• Moderate content; fight spam and scams in DMs
• 90% player, 10% coach (budget for 1 headcount)

What your first 60-days will look like:

• Full audit of our trust and safety policies
• Full dashboards up and running monitoring takedowns, suspensions, and payments risk
• Policies are in place and automated with objective functions outlined
• KYC flow is extensible via public API (embeddable and via link)
• Payouts flow is extensible via public API (embeddable and via link)
• AB experiments shipped of KYC setup checkout
