What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activity coordinator position at Ellisville Rehabilitation and Nursing?
Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents.
Leads and / or oversees individual and group events daily, encouraging and tracking resident participation at each event.
Provides information for the electronic medical record (EMR) including assessments, care plans (SNF), and progress notes.
Designs creative and engaging events that are reflective of our residents’ needs and interests.
Plans a monthly calendar that includes one-on-one events as well as group activities that enrich our resident’s well-being.
Acknowledges resident birthdays, anniversaries, and special accomplishments.
Communicates activity supply needs in a timely manner.
Ensures activity events meet all state, federal, and other regulatory guidelines.
License and / or Qualifications
Active state driver’s license preferred.
Must be CPR certified.
