Ellsworth, an industry leading custom packager of adhesives, currently has a Customer Service Representative I opportunity at KitPackers and ResinLab, located in Germantown, WI.
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for meeting all customer requirements with the goal of total customer satisfaction. This includes entering customer orders, processing all customer requests by email or phone, expediting orders, communicating all customer requirements to appropriate departments, and responsible for ensuring that all orders are shipped as requested by the customer.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years of experience of related industrial experience, preferably from a custom adhesive, chemical, coatings/paint, pharmaceutical/food manufacturing or packaging/dispensing environment
- High school diploma or equivalency (GED, HSED)
- Above average PC skills and high proficiency with Microsoft Office products and windows-based software
- Experience working with ERP Systems, preferably Microsoft Navision
- Must be meticulous with above average detail orientation, accuracy and follow-through
- Ability to be self-directed and individually resourceful, working independently but also within a fast-paced team environment
- Maintain professionalism at all times and have strong customer service and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of effective leadership, coaching and training skills and abilities
- Ability and willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic and expanding company
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service Representative I / Receptionist:
- Perform order preparation process for customer orders
- Perform order verification process for customer orders
- Generate and send daily reports to management (end of day, open order)
- Field customer requests in a timely manner (whether in person, by phone, or email).
- Supply sales order shipment tracking and proof of delivery information to customers as requested
- Maintains the storage of SDS, TDS, REACH, and ROHS documents using software for all raw materials and finished goods.
- Maintains the storage of SDS data within the Nicelabel program.
- Responsible for the front desk reception area – fielding phone calls, welcoming on-site visitors, managing visitor badges and log book, monitoring the Visitor and Meeting Room calendars, ensuring outer doors are secured from 5pm to 8am at the end of the day, and providing assistance for meeting room activities.
- Receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail. Monitors incoming facsimiles via email.
- Assists with data entry for departments as needed.
- Enters customer sample orders into the ERP.
- Maintains copy machine maintenance and toner requests for all copiers in the building
- Maintains vending machine maintenance and supply requests
