Ellumen is seeking an experienced Configuration/Change Management Support Specialist to provide expertise for a U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) program. This hybrid role will focus on supporting configuration control and change management processes for Health IT systems, with a strong emphasis on coordination, documentation, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Configuration Control Board (CCB) execution and management, including related tasks, processes, and subordinate working group/review boards.
- Provide support for Configuration Review Board (CRB) processes to manage and vet Health IT change requests from end users and program stakeholders.
- Participate in Defense Health Agency (DHA) capability development and release planning meetings for MHS GENESIS, reviewing release notes and assessing potential impacts to the USCG configuration baseline and service usage.
- Assist with documentation review, analysis, and updates, including the Configuration Management Plan and related support artifacts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with established configuration and change management procedures.
- 5 years of management consulting experience in a federal environment.
- 3–5 years of experience leading IT project requirements and change control processes, including direct implementation and maintenance of configuration/change management policies, plans, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of IT program management principles, with a focus on process governance and quality control.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) solutions (e.g., MHS GENESIS).
- Background supporting IT acquisition programs for federal agencies.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management, or a related field.
