Nursing Home Food Service Director

Elm Manor in Canandaigua, NY is offering an opportunity to become a part of our management team.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for the food service / meal for residents, employees and visitors.
• Develop, manage and maintain food service policies and procedures in accordance with DOH rules and regulations and administrative directives.
• Reviews menus
• Supervises the handling, preparation, and storage of food.
• Oversees equipment maintenance, record keeping and all sanitation activities.
• Provides input in strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
• May give input into developing the budget.
• Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.

Requirements :

• Management Experience

Salary :

$50,000 - $55,000 annually
