What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Supervisor position at Elm Terrace Gardens?
We are seeking an RN to join our team, we are a five star continuing care retirement community located in the heart of Lansdale PA.
Full Time 2 shifts available; 3:00pm-11:00pm or 11:00pm-7:00am
Part Time 1 shift available: 7am-3pm, every other weekend
Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
- Administer medications and wound treatments
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
- supervise LPN's and CNA's on your shift
Qualifications:
- RN license in good standing in the state of PA
- Manager experience preferred
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability and commitment to work as part of a team to provide excellence of care
