What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist position at Elmwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center?
PURPOSE OF JOB POSITION :
The primary purpose of the position is providing and directing physical therapy services to patients which may include pediatric, adult and / or geriatric persons. The goal of helping them reach their maximum performance potential within a medical model of practice shall occur.
EDUCATION :
- MS / DPT in Physical Therapy or BS with equivalent work experience.
- Successful completion of State Certification Examination for Physical Therapy.
- Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development
- Must maintain valid state Physical Therapy licensure
