We are looking for a public accountant with a background in public accounting, ideally with 3-5 years experience in auditing and tax preparation.

Public Accountant Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 /annually
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30pm)

• Preparing financial statements from client information
• Reconciling and tying out accounts
• Preparing clients trial balance for year-end tax and accounting work
• Working with clients to gather tax information, creating tax documentation, and preparing tax returns for businesses and individuals.
• Management of multiple client accounts
• Keep track of deadlines and deliverable for multiple clients
• Payroll knowledge
• Sales Tax Returns
• Regular communication with clients
• Answer client questions and provide advice

Public Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3-4 years of experience in tax preparation and accounting
• Experience with Microsoft Office & Thomson Reuter Software Products (Preferred)
• Communicates financial information clearly
• Demonstrates organizational, problem-solving, project management and time-management skills
• Builds strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• Input & generate monthly financial statements for business client
