Job Summary

ElyoniX is seeking ASNT Level III certified in UT, PT, MT, VT for a client specializing in weldments and precision parts.

Responsibilities :

Ensure compliance with customer standards.
Inspects and audits manufactured, fabricated, and welded metal components and assemblies.
Review metallurgical or other certifications for received materials.
Assess weld joint preparation.
Interprets customer-supplied drawings, schematic diagrams, or specs
Inspects and / or tests at specified stages in the production process, for a variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical characteristics as required.
Evaluates inspection and test data and produce standardized reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
Sets up and performs nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics.
Examine and train other NDE personnel
Prepare Quality Reporting Packages.
Adhere to other assigned duties.

Qualifications :

Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings for manufacturing and welding processes.

Ability to compile and write routine quality reports and correspondence.

Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task.

Experience in steel fabrication using AWS D1.1, with knowledge of D1.2, D1.5, and D1.6 codes.

Hold a Valid AWS CWI certification preferred.

ASNT Level III UT, PT, MT, VT Required.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
