What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plumbing Account Executive position at EM Duggan?
Summary:
The Plumbing Account Executive will be responsible for generating sales for the company through multiple avenues. Respond to customer requests for quotes to replace or upgrade plumbing systems and equipment in their facilities. Identify, develop, and sell Preventive Maintenance agreements which will provide a core business for DMS and the sales executive. Follow up with all customers on quoted projects. Work with customers to maintain relationship and generate repeat business and renew PMA’s.
Core Responsibilities:
- Quote projects identified and developed by assigned field personnel
- Quote pull through work identified by field personnel
- Identify new customers for quoted projects and PMA’s
- Enter quotes in Build Ops with accurate estimates
- Enter Preventive Maintenance Agreement contracts in Build Ops
- Convert quotes to projects when approved by customers
- Issue purchase orders for all materials required for projects sold
- Issue subcontracts required for projects sold
- Work closely daily with coordination team to track parts for projects
- Work closely daily with Coordinators to schedule projects
- Coordinate with Permit Coordinator as needed
- Work with Service Manager to help resolve customer disputes
Qualifications and Experience:
- Min 10 years’ experience in Plumbing installations
- Min 5 years’ experience in Plumbing sales and estimating
- Knowledgeable in all Plumbing systems
- Required Computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook
- Team player, willing to work with management and co-workers
- Advanced customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Clear and concise communication with customers, department managers
- Must be able to multi‐task
- Must be able to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment
- Strong self‐motivation
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple appointments
- Clean driver’s license
Schedule:
- Based in Canton, MA
- Full time
- Monday – Friday
- Local travel required
Compensation:
- Base salary $80,000.00 - $100,000.00
- Commission
