This is a part-time position (up to 35 hours per week).
Embellish My Home is a full-service furniture store in Lakeway, TX, family owned and operated since 2006. The store offers a unique selection of furniture, accessories and décor, as well as a wide variety of window treatments.
We are looking for an individual to join our team. Drivers are recognized as the front line to our customers. You will be responsible for delivering, installing, and at times demonstrating merchandise in our customer’s home while providing outstanding customer service along the way!

Delivery drivers are professional, courteous and genuinely enjoy working with people. Solid communication skills and dependability are necessary for this role.
The Work
· Load, secure and protect product in delivery vehicle and safely transport merchandise without damage.
· Verify product information and accessories to ensure it matches for deliveries and returns (store procedure)
· Ensure all merchandise is clean and in operating condition prior to delivery
· Organize and schedule deliveries to customers. Make calls to coordinate date and time with customers.
· Offload, install and where applicable, demonstrate merchandise for our customer’s safely
· As needed, perform routine service calls, product exchanges and assist with merchandise returns (store procedure)
· Support in maintaining the showroom floor and store’s warehouse by moving and organizing merchandise
· Maintain the store’s warehouse in a neat and orderly manner
· Safely operate delivery vehicle and follow delivery schedule set by store personnel
· Conduct daily inspection of assigned delivery vehicle to ensure safety and maintenance guidelines are met
· Any other reasonable duties requested by management
Job Requirements:
· Clean driving record, at least 21 with valid state driver’s license
· Verifiable work history and experience with furniture delivery/handling
· Ability to work part-time schedule of hours varying from 10-5 p.m.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs with the assistance of a dolly
· Must be able to pass background requirements
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
Delivery driver: 1 year preferred
Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
