ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing the following regularly:
- Responsible for fleet fitness (safety, maintenance, and repairs) by performing diagnostic testing and daily or weekly inspections, tune-ups, and critical repairs on all fleet vehicles, equipment, and machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues that arise with fleet vehicles, equipment, and machinery
- Perform housekeeping duties by cleaning and maintaining truck shop, parts, and tools
- Conduct other tasks and other duties as assigned or directed
POSITION REQUIREMENTS/PREFERRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years of age
- Willingness to invest in tools and demonstrate mechanic skills
- Must demonstrate integrity, honesty, dependability, professionalism, and commitment to all company operating policies, procedures, and safety requirements and EMCOR’s values, Business Code of Conduct, and Business Ethics
- Must work well in a team/crew environment

- Noise levels in the work environment may be loud
