About Us:  Shambaugh & Son L.P., a wholly owned subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc., is a construction/engineering firm.  We specialize in the Design-Build method of construction resulting in fast-track delivery of the project improvements to our clients as well as traditional plan and spec projects. We are one of the largest specialty contractors in the U.S. and the only one with all eight M.E.P. Job Title: Mechanic- Fort Wayne, IN

Job Summary: The Mechanic will be responsible for the repairs on all Shambaugh & Son cars, trucks and equipment. They will do this by maintaining a clean and orderly environment while exercising all safety rules at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   

• Make repairs in a conscious and timely manner.
• Report to garage manager when not knowledgeable of certain problems.
• Coordinate and work in harmony with all Shambaugh & Son personnel.
• Prompt and accurate completion of work orders in a legible manner.
• Check all vehicles and equipment in yard for past due service.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

• 2-3 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
