Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The Machine Operator 1 (Splicing) typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which include, but are not limited to the following:

Essential Duties

• Pack delicate components inside a coil bobbin.
• Handling small PC boards.
• Microscope work.
• Loading and unloading ovens.
• Use lasers and outboard equipment.
  
  

Responsibilities Include

• Ensure proper documentation is completed.
• Able to be at a workstation for extended periods of time, during each scheduled shift (7 AM to 3:30 PM).
• Practice safe operating procedures.
• Keep work area clean, and promptly report all safety hazards.
  
  

Minimum Education Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  
  

Desired Characteristics

• 0 – 1 year of relative or similar experience preferred.
• Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
• Fine hand dexterity.
• Good hand/eye coordination and care required when working with small components.
• Ability to following procedures.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
  
  

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary for this role is $16.00 per hour.
