Your Role
EMD Electronics is seeking Technicians for its MEGASYS® team. Technicians work on systems and maintain supply of chemicals and gases to a semiconductor manufacturing environment that makes the chips used in electronic devices such as Smart Phones, LED's, and Flat Screen TV's. This is a challenging, hands-on, rewarding job opportunity for people who want to join a growing business.
Technicians may be expected to work 12-hour shifts, as well as on a rotational day to night / night to day work schedule.

Your Role

Technicians will be responsible for the safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems, with duties including:
- Handling and change-out of gas, chemical, slurry containers
- Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative/repair maintenance
- Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs
- Support of quality systems
- Primary communication point to customer
- 75% of walking throughout the facility (5-6 miles per day)
- Climbing of ladders up to 12-foot-tall (utilizing fall protection)
- Basic lifting (up to 40lbs)
- Bending of the knees and overhead reaching
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 years of experience in maintenance or equipment technician
- Technical degree or relevant technical training
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Prior experience working in a mechanical or electronic environment
- Experience with BCD/PCD and gas related equipment
- Experience with gas and/or chemical delivery systems in ultra-high purity operation
- Strong technical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
