We're partnering with a respected mid-market investment bank that has built its reputation on results, long-term relationships, and high-quality execution. We are currently seeking an experienced Analyst or Associate to join their Cleveland office.
This is an opportunity to work closely with senior bankers and clients on a variety of transactions, gaining full cycle deal experience.
What will you do?
- Build financial models and conduct valuation analyses including DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions
- Prepare pitch books, CIMs, and other presentation materials
- Assist with due diligence and support deal execution from start to finish
- Work directly with senior bankers and clients on primarily sell-side engagements
- Conduct industry and company-specific research to support transaction strategy
- Focus mainly on the business services industry.
What do you need in order to be considered?
- 2.5 - 5 years of experience in investment banking (similar transaction experienced may be considered).
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA a plus)
