Salary Details:
The starting salary for this position is $44,468 with opportunities for quick promotions and increased salary. Starting compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may change from the amount shown. Essential Duties:
- Responsible for in-coming emergency (911) and non-emergency calls via phone, radio, and other established means of communication
- Receives emergency calls from the public and prioritizes and processes them into a pre-established computer format for a concise event at a precise location
- Instructs callers in the performance of urgent procedures before arrival of emergency services, as required using scripted protocols
- Refers citizens' non-emergency calls to the appropriate agencies
- Relays information and contacts appropriate agencies or personnel to resolve routine problems
- Executes accurate and expedient public safety communications work in response to a high volume of emergency and non-emergency calls
- Receives emergency service telephone calls from primary PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) for EMS and Fire
- Utilize Computer Aided Dispatch program to verify callers location
- Operates dispatch monitoring and activity consoles and equipment
- Responsible for knowledge and use of equipment, including but not limited to the computer, printers, 911 equipment, recording devices, telephones, and other equipment as assigned by superiors.
- Answering and processing of after-hours contracted services
- Utilization of online programs for requests for transportation

Emergent Health PartnersRequired Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- 1 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, emergency communications, or in a fast paced multi-discipline environment.
- Must pass the Critical applicant screening process.
- Must possess strong keyboarding skills, ability to multitask, attention to detail, and memory recall
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to legally work in the U.S.
- EMS and/or fire dispatch experience preferred but we will train
- Must be able to pass a company sponsored drug screen and physical
