Job Summary
Reporting to the Office Manager and working under the direct supervision of the Cardiologist(s), responsible for ensuring patient preparation and supporting the physician(s) with clinical duties.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant course strongly preferred.
- Experience
- Two to four years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a Cardiologists office preferred.
- Licensure and/or Certification
- Certification as a Medical Assistant in Massachusetts preferred but not required.
- Skills
- EKG experience required.
- Ability to take vital signs.
- Customer service skills.
- Computer skills with EMR/EHR, Meditech, GE Centricity preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills on the phone and in person.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
