Waitress/Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Waitress/cashier to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a keen sense of time management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is preferred.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems, ensuring efficient seating arrangements.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Provide guests with menus and inform them about daily specials or promotions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs promptly.
• Uphold food safety standards while handling food items and maintaining hygiene in the dining area.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy.
• Support sales initiatives by promoting menu items and upselling when appropriate.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
• Familiarity with food safety practices is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of kitchen operations can be beneficial but is not required.
