Are you ready to set the standard for Premium apparel?

Position responsibilities and daily tasks:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

● Create inspiring looks for weekly men’s (60%) and women’s (40%) catalog photoshoots

● Follow Senior Stylist and Lead Stylist’s seasonal styling guide direction to translate styling trends to e-commerce friendly looks and showcase seasonal focuses and buying investments

● Pre-style, organize, and prep all garments and accessories to ensure all items are photo ready

● Review PO images prior to catalog shoots to ensure proper dressing and styling of model

● Participate in daily walk-throughs to get final approvals of clothing racks for upcoming photoshoots to ensure styling is brand and site appropriate

● Collaborate with the Senior Stylist and Lead Stylist on upcoming catalog shoots to ensure the styling is on brand and site appropriate in order to improve and elevate catalog styling

● Participate in evolving the styling point of view for FWRD men’s and women’s

● Research and stay on top of current and emerging trends in fashion and retail, including competitors’ sites and brands’ lookbooks

● Collaborate with Photo Shoot Director and Photographer to manage time and pacing on set

● Submit any necessary pulls to ensure the needed merchandise is in-studio prior to catalog and editorial photo shoot and prioritize high priorities

● Keeping merchandise organized and dressing models in a timely and efficient manner in order to meet productivity goals

● Demonstrate proper techniques for styling and preparation of merchandise to minimize damages

● Focus on efficiency and meeting daily productivity goals while minimizing reshoots

● Perform photo shoot breakdown following men’s and women's catalog shoots (sample tags, shoes, etc)

● Organize all clothing racks before passing them to the appropriate teams

● Review OCs and feedback to ensure all product is shot correctly and up to FWRD standards

● Help manage the studio inventory and participate in monthly audits for men’s and women's studios

● Work with Senior Stylist and Lead Stylist to maintain styling closet and ensure the photo studios’ styling closets are up to date (inventory, seasonality, and on-trend)

● Maintain a tidy studio and manage women’s and men’s styling closet

What does a candidate need to demonstrate to perform this job successfully:

● Ability to work in the intensity of a high production studio and capable of upholding the highest quality standards

● Understanding of retail and e-commerce trends

● Knowledge of apparel on-body styling techniques across the industry and in various fashion categories

● A superb eye for attention to detail, style, and visual composition

● Ability and desire to work with a team as well as independently

● Self-driven and able to easily communicate creative ideas

● Experience with on-set standards and demands

● Exceptional organizational skills

● Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and stay calm under pressure

Minimum candidate qualifications (years of experience, education level, technical skills, software, etc):

●  2 years of styling experience in E-commerce, Editorial, and/or Photo Studio environment

● Professional styling experience on-figure styling and product styling

● Understanding of fashion and market trends, visual composition, and the art of aesthetic presentation

● Experience in working with Hair and Makeup Artists, Photographers, and Photo Art Directors

● Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

● Proficient in Gmail and Google Drive

● Physically able to lift over 25 lbs

● Portfolio with women’s and men’s styling, lifestyle or studio

Preferred qualifications (years of experience, education level, technical skills, software, etc):

● Bachelors or Associates Degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Photography, or other Visual Communications Arts

● Complete creative understanding of the FWRD customer

● Experience styling luxury brands

● Experience with Adobe Suite

● Proficient in Mac and PC computer systems

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current base hourly/annual range is $45,760 to $49,920 per year.
