Are you ready to set the standard for Premium apparel?

Main purpose of the Social Media Assistant role:

This is a full time role for a candidate who will report into the Sr. Social Media Specialist in building and operating REVOLVE social media channels, with a primary focus on REVOLVE’s Instagram channel. This role will act as the voice of our brand online and play a key role in shaping the perception of our company through direct community engagement (comments, direct messages, etc). Additionally, this role will support the broader social media team in building social media audiences and growing viewership and engagement across all of our channels.

Major Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

•    Work closely with the Sr. Social Media Specialist to ensure the platform reflects the annual social calendar that includes all of REVOLVE’s key commerce initiatives, brand initiatives and events

•    Lead sourcing UGC content and usage permission on REVOLVE social media platforms

•    Develop and execute a social media community outreach strategy that aligns with our business goals and brand values

•    Identify and report any positive/negative sentiment or content arising about brand

•    Respond to all non-customer-service related comments and direct messages across all channels

•    Engaging with external viral content across Instagram to increase REVOLVE’s visibility

•    Research and propose content creators across all social platforms that REVOLVE could utilize in future partnerships

•    Contribute to creative brainstorms to develop new content concepts for REVOLVE and Influencer deliverables

•    Monitor content on influencer and partner channels to identify new opportunities, trends, messaging and creative approaches

•    Support Social Media team in publishing and administrative tasks, as needed

•    Support Sr. Social Media Specialist by posting in-feed to social channels every other weekend

•    Post to REVOLVE Instagram Stories; as needed

Required Competencies:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

•    Expertise in Instagram and TikTok is a must

•    Passion for fashion, beauty and pop culture

•    Excellent copywriting skills

•    Extremely organized, detail-oriented self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment 

•    Strong collaborator, communicator and team-player

•    Possess an eye for aesthetic curation and cohesive visual and written storytelling

•    Knowledgeable in a variety of photo / video editing apps for the creation of social assets

•    Experience in social content creation (photo, video)

•    Positive attitude, team player, humble

Minimum Qualifications:

•    1 years of social media experience

•    Expertise in Instagram; Strong knowledge of TikTok and YouTube

•    Strong knowledge of the influencers, beauty brands and designers aligned with REVOLVE

•    Demonstrates strong ability for iPhone filming and editing

•    Proficiency in project management and social tools a plus (Airtable, Dash Hudson, Asana, etc.)

•    Bachelor’s degree a plus

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.

A reasonable estimate of the current salary rate is $19.00/hour to $22.00/hour.
