What are the responsibilities and job description for the Polisher position at Emjac Industries?

The responsibilities of the Polisher include, but are not limited to:
- Perform a variety of operations to remove burrs or sharp edges, and clean surfaces on a variety of customer-fabricated metal parts assemblies.
- Grind, polish, and or buff a wide variety of customer fabricated Stainless Steel products, maintaining the specified finish and grain.
- Grind, polish, and or buff along weld lines to create a continuous and uniformly blended surface.
- Use hand and power tools such as belt sanders, abrasive wheels, fixtures, files, scrapers, solvents, and miscellaneous hand tools.
- Select and use the required wheels and abrasives.
- Build up, dress, and balance wheels
- Clean and inspect parts prior to passing them on to Quality Control
- Assists other trades personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be hardworking and dependable
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must be flexible in performing other job responsibilities when the situation dictates.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Prior experience polishing Stainless Steel is a plus
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
