Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
-Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets food safety guidelines
-Maintain a clean and organized work area
-Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
-Responsible and willing to accommodate residents who require no concentrated sweets, no added salt diets or require a special consistency of food
-Able to assist the cook by preparing food for 30-50 people
-Willing to perform all other tasks as required/assigned by Dietary Manager
-Set tables, prepare coffee/beverages, clean tables after meals
-Dishwashing
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
