Description
The Emory Saint Joseph's Imaging department is seeking to fill the position of Imaging Services Associate. The primary responsibilities of this role is to perform assigned patient care and observation duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Radiologic Technologist, including, but not limited to: cleaning the patients room, operating various equipment, helping with emergencies and assisting with patient flow. Additionally, preparation of rooms to receive patient; sets up necessary equipment and ensures neatness and cleanliness of room. This position may also assist with preparing patients for procedures.
In alignment with our pursuit of excellent care here at EHC, the expectation of the incumbent is to provide excellent customer service to the patients and clinical teams they support, while communicating to patients and family members the general overview and process the imaging appointment. This includes patients, providers, imaging services technologists and nurses as this position is a critical component to ensuring patients have a positive experience with Emory Healthcare.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Some college preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- BLS certification required upon hiring.
