Responsibilities:

Working on 6G, you will hone your skills working with peritoneal dialysis, accessing ports, and administering chemotherapy.   

 

• Number of Beds: 24 
• Patient Populations/Typical Diagnoses: cystic fibrosis, arrythmias, immunocompromised patients, kidney failure, infections, paralysis, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, and stroke   
• Targeted Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4

MINIMUM Qualifications:

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Two years experience as an RN with a minimum of two years of experience in the area of concentration. Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board. Certification preferred.
• BLS required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
• If promoted internally or hired externally, the incumbent must complete UCN/SNM criteria requirements within nine months of promotion or hire, including completion of Enhancing your Communication HLC#6488, completion of formal preceptor training workshop and enrollment in LEAP course.
