SHIFT: This position works on an as needed basis.
We're seeking a dedicated Licensed Certified Social Worker on a as needed basis to help support our team at Emory University Hospital Midtown / Cancer Research. As part of our team you will acknowledge and appropriately prioritize referrals from interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families, with initial chart documentation entered within eight business hours of receipt of consult. You will attend and actively participate in Trials and interdisiplinary team meetings in order to screen for high risk patients.
The LCSW will maintain a broad knowledge of resources and options for patients available within all levels of care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters in Social Work from an accredited Institution.
- At least 3 years of relevant social work experience required.
- Experience in an Acute Care or post-acute care setting desired but not required.
- Positions in this classification require LCSW licensure. ACM, CCM preferred.
