Empire, the local Caterpillar dealer for heavy equipment, is looking for a talented Marketing Specialist to join one of the top ranked family-owned companies in Arizona. You will be responsible for organizing and executing marketing requests for 40 departments across 20 locations in Arizona and Southeastern California. You will report to the Marketing Manager and support a team of Project Managers to help drive strategy through creative marketing solutions including sponsorships & events, email marketing, lead generation campaigns, print projects, and more.

Essential Functions
- Coordinate and execute events and sponsorships including schedules, logistics, materials, presentations, and team management. Collect data and report results to continually improve events.
- Work closely with Marketing Project Managers to create, execute, maintain and support marketing plans.
- Coordinate variety of integrated marketing initiatives including apparel, direct email, email, awards, sales collateral, signage and print projects. Be the focal point for production, timeline, resourcing issues, approvals and storage.
- Develop and maintain strong, productive working relationships with vendors including agencies, photographers, designers, and printers to ensure production of materials are on time and on budget.
- Manage and process invoices to maintain marketing finances and follow all company policies and procedures for procurement.
- Support corporate communications function with public relations efforts, presentations and business updates.
- Monitor, develop and update web and email content.
- Participate in the development of creative messaging and visual content for marketing communications.
- Prepare marketing metrics by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing campaign data.
- Support sales presentations by assembling proposals, videos, slide shows and collateral.
- Understand brand requirements and consistently apply brand standards.
- Maintain project management system to update request statuses and track project deliverables and deadlines.
- Provide departmental administrative support, including handling incoming and outgoing mail, interoffice distribution, answering phones, copying, and preparing correspondence. Assists in maintaining a neat, organized office environment.
Additional Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain knowledge and proficiency on software applications and systems Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and Word), Adobe Creative Suite, Marketing (content management, digital media and email systems), WordPress and general network applications; and other specialized applications as directed.
- Coordinate the activities of part-time student workers when necessary.
- Travel to Empire branch locations to provide training, assistance, and event support as needed.
- Proofread printed materials produced by any other member of the Department as requested.
- Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in MS Office including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects with conflicting urgencies.

- Ability to collaborate and to integrate with a diverse team.
- Strong knowledge of email marketing, digital marketing principles, and web technology.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Working knowledge of branding, layout, fonts, and other design fundamentals.
- Ability to complete assignments on schedule with minimal supervision.
- Must have acceptable attendance to meet all company standards and requirements.
Education and Experience
- Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree).
- Minimum 4 years work experience in a marketing environment with event coordinating duties.
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
- Experience working with email and web content management systems.
- Photography skills a plus.
- Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
