Job Summary
Empire is looking for a commercial fence installer to join our team. This position requires a construction or landscaping minded individual who is able to travel to venues across the country and install fencing. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated and detail oriented.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Install fencing per work order, i.e. layout, digging holes, pouring concrete, welding, installing gates, etc.
· Follow job plans and blueprints
· Meet time sensitive deadlines with confidence and professionalism
· Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion
· Perform maintenance on equipment to keep in a satisfactory working condition
· Additional tasks as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
· High school or equivalent is preferred
· US work authorization is required
· Valid driver’s license is required, CDL A is a plus
· Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
· Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
· Proficient problem-solving and communication skills
· Demonstrate ability to work independently while also able to work in a team setting
· Willing to work M-F with weekends and overtime as needed
· Ability to use a variety of hand tools and all power tools
· Ability to operate heavy equipment, i.e. skid loader, telescoping boom lift, scissor lift, etc.
