Empire is a full-service company in OEM and POP markets, producing overlays, vinyl decals, crystal-line domes, nameplates, magnets, and roll labels, using UV LED and UV screening, digital and flexographic printing.

There is a full-time opening on 2nd shift for a Screen Maker - Lead

REPORTS TO: Screen Making Supervisor

SECOND SHIFT: Monday - Thursday 3:25pm - 1:30 am

***$2 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift***

JOB SUMMARY:

Screen makers produce screens of acceptable quality according to the pull. Screen makers follows the screen through several steps such as reclaiming, degreasing, coating, shooting, development, and inspection.

EXPECTATION OF LEAD: provide supervisor support/backup, demonstrate leadership potential, delegate work flow, troubleshoot issues and train area personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Makes good quality screens
• Reclaims and inspects screens to determine if re-usable
• Degreases new and used screens in preparation for coating
• Breaks down and prepares screens for stretching - stretches screens
• Develops exposed screens
• Meets the pull schedule
• Inspects screens for defects such as pin holes and blocks them out

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Must have excellent attendance and work well with others
• Work independently without continued support for others
• Must be able to read and comprehend job orders that provide specific details and instructions
• Must be detail-oriented
• Computer literate
• Positive attitude
• Must have a safety-conscious behavior
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
