Job Summary
We are seeking a Title Examination Attorney with 1-5 years of legal experience to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to review abstracts and prepare detailed notes that will be used in the creation of title insurance commitments. This position supports the managing attorney and plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our title services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze title abstracts for residential properties.
- Prepare comprehensive notes and reports for the creation of title insurance commitments.
- Identify and resolve title defects and issues.
- Collaborate with the managing attorney to ensure thorough and accurate title examinations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of real estate laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in OK
- 1-5 years of legal experience, with a focus on real estate and title examination.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
