Job Responsibilities
As a Staff Accountant, you will prepare and analyze financial results and reports, ensure compliance with regulatory guidance, increase financial accuracy and internal controls, improve document processes, and provide critical technical guidance and advice to senior client management representatives.
Staff Accountant responsibilities :
- Prepare and review financial statements and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Perform regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the monthly closing process, including preparing journal entries and financial reports.
- Provide management with financial information through research and analysis.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory guidance.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
