The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Senior AI Backend Engineer to join their team in building intelligent agent-based systems and LLM-powered applications. The role focuses on developing and deploying production-ready AI solutions that leverage the latest advances in large language models and autonomous agents.
What you'll be doing
Design and implement agentic workflows using LangChain and LangGraph
Build and optimize RAG systems for improved information retrieval and generation
Deploy and maintain AI services on AWS infrastructure
Integrate various LLM services and fine-tune models as needed
Collaborate with the team on architecture decisions and best practices
Implement and maintain production-grade AI endpoints
Ensure high performance and reliability of AI systems
Optimize AI workflows for cost and efficiency
Your qualifications and experience
Must haves
5 years of software development experience in Python
Strong expertise in LangChain, LangGraph, and other agentic frameworks
Experience implementing production RAG systems
Proficiency with AWS services (Bedrock, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB)
Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, AWS Bedrock)
Strong background in building scalable backend services
Experience working in agile development environments using git
Proven track record of deploying AI solutions to production
Nice-to-haves
Frontend / full-stack experience with React and Next.js
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Redis)
Familiarity with deep learning frameworks
Experience with model fine-tuning
Background in NLP tools (spaCy, NLTK)
