Job Summary
In this role you are performing activities and completing processes for individual life insurance products. You're in a position to assist when our customers need us most . Individual Life and Financial Services, ILFS, Operations provides support to the division by performing all servicing aspects required to administer life insurance policies and annuities. These duties often entail system maintenance, customer communication, escalation management, agent support and other business support. Therefore, it is critical that the Operations Associate II adopts an outside in perspective and performs their role with urgency and empathy, ensuring we understand the client's expectations and exceed them. More specifically, the position adds value to the organization by supporting the maintenance activities, customer requests and agent needs while achieving department goals and organizational objectives.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Prioritizing your workday in order to maintain both volume and quality production goals.
- Process transactional service requests and assist clients.
- Support agents and informational requests needed to service clients.
- Handle escalations and manage any required communication.
- Maintain documentation and procedures for areas of assigned responsibility.
- May participate in some projects and help deliver training.
Job Requirements
Required Education and/or Certifications
- High school diploma and relevant work experience
- Or College degree in lieu of work experience.
Recommended Education and/or Certifications
- Series 6 licensing is a plus but not required
Required Work Experience
- Prior experience with insurance products and services or call center or financial services background is helpful.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products in addition to effective written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
Salary Band: 03A
This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
