We are partnering with a great company in Glastonbury, CT to find a skilled Maintenance Mechanic! This is a fulltime, direct hire, dayshift position with a great benefits package!
Hours: 5 am - 1:30 pm
Pay range: $25-32 hour
Duties
- You will work on the plant facility, electrical, mechanical and electronic repairs of machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and conduct repairs as necessary.
- Analyze schematics to understand electrical systems and high voltage components.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
Skills
- 5 years’ experience industrial machine maintenance
- Experience in Electronics, Electrical repairs, Industrial Equipment installations, alignment, start-up repairs, cranes, etc.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and basic wiring (480 V through control voltage, basic PLC knowledge, relays, starters etc.)
- Proficiency in using voltmeters, ohmmeters, ammeters, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of high voltage systems
