Employment Solutions is partnering with a successful aerospace manufacturing company to hire a Senior Design Engineer with extensive experience in Aerospace and Defense Engineering to work in Endicott, NY. This is a direct hire full-time position with outstanding benefits!

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Solve complex engineering problems
- Lead the design and development of aerospace and defense systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Work with cross-functional team sto define design requirements
- Design calculations, analysis,and simulations to ensure the functionality, safety, and durability of products.
- Manage and review design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test plans.
- Oversee the prototyping and testing phases
REQUIREMENTS
- BS Degree or Master’s in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related
- 5 years of experience in design engineering, preferably within aerospace and defense sectors.
- Expertise in mechanical design,analysis, and testing for aerospace or defense applications.
- Proficiency with design and analysis tools(e.g., CAD software, FEA, simulation tools)
- Experience with brazing or advanced manufacturing techniques preferred
- Knowledge of aerospace and defense regulations, standards, and best practices
- Familiarity with materials science and selection processesf or aerospace applications
