Position Summary:
The Cultivation Doser is responsible for preparing and administering precise nutrient solutions and additives to cannabis plants in a controlled and compliant environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the health and consistency of plant growth throughout the cultivation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Nutrient Preparation & Delivery:

Mix and dose fertilizers, pH balancers, and other plant inputs according to cultivation SOPs.

Ensure accurate measurements and maintain dosing records for all plant batches.

Operate and calibrate dosing equipment and automated irrigation systems.

System Monitoring & Maintenance:

Monitor environmental conditions, nutrient EC/pH levels, and irrigation schedules.

Identify and report irregularities such as clogged lines, faulty valves, or inconsistent flow rates.

Perform daily inspections and basic preventative maintenance on dosing equipment.

Record-Keeping & Compliance:

Document all dosing activities in accordance with state regulations and internal tracking systems (e.g., METRC).

Maintain logs of nutrient recipes, application times, and batch numbers.

Ensure all activities align with GMP, GACP, and relevant state cannabis cultivation regulations.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

Communicate regularly with Cultivation Leads and IPM (Integrated Pest Management) staff to adjust feeding strategies.

Assist with inventory counts of nutrients and cultivation supplies.

Facility Cleanliness & Safety:

Adhere to sanitation protocols and maintain cleanliness in the fertigation/dosing area.

Follow all safety protocols including proper PPE usage and chemical handling guidelines.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in horticulture, chemistry, or agriculture is a plus.

Prior experience in commercial agriculture, hydroponics, or cannabis cultivation preferred.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow complex recipes and SOPs.

Comfortable handling and mixing chemicals with proper safety protocols.

Basic understanding of pH, EC, nutrient cycles, and plant health indicators.

Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in warm, humid environments.
Work Schedule & Compensation:

Full-time position; schedule may include weekends and holidays depending on cultivation cycles.
